The purpose of this project is to give an overview of online shopping through a case study of Taoboa.com. This project provides a brief history of online shopping, an overall summary of products and services available over the Internet, online shopping in China, the characteristics of shopping websites in Hong Kong, and the advantages and disadvantages of online shopping. We also compare the logistics of online shopping and traditional in store shopping.

The case study of Taoboa includes factors that contribute to Taobao's success in China and Hong Kong, a SWOT analysis to identify Taobao's areas for development.
