It is more than clear that people who partake in political activities must possess exceptional speaking abilities. Throughout the history of the U.S, we have seen politicians and activist who possess outstanding abilities to speak. They have influenced the way this country has been shaped and they have contributed to this country's greatness. These speakers have also been considered among the most influential people in this world. Considered by many, one of these extraordinary speakers is our one and only President Clinton. William Jefferson "Bill" Clinton was born in Hope, Arkansas August 19, 1946. Clinton is an American politician who served as the 42nd President of the United States. Serving two terms in the White house from 1993 to 200, he was inaugurated at age 46 and was the third-youngest president in U.S history. Clinton took office at the end of the Cold War which made him the first president of the baby boomer generation. Throughout his political career Clinton has been described as a New Democrat. He is an alumnus of Georgetown University and earned a Rhodes scholarship to attend the University of Oxford. His wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton, has served as the United States Secretary of State since 2009 and was also a Senator from New York. Both Clintons received law degrees from Yale Law School. Currently Clinton remains politically active and is considered one of the most influential men in the world. His speeches and support were crucial in both the election and re-election of President Barack Obama.
There are reasons and explanations to why Bill Clinton is considered one of the greatest speakers in history. Evidently it is a talent that he possesses, but his speeches are outstanding because of his preparation and confidence. Watching Clinton deliver his speeches is like attending an art performance. The way the speeches are delivered and the way his crowd gets involved is simply amazing. His most important characteristic is the fact that he believes in his message and he truly believes in himself. This causes the people receiving his message to believe him and feel inspired by him.
