Cheque Story

Using the notes that you gathered today in class, use google docs to write a first draft of a story that explains the events of the cheques. For each event, please put the date of the cheque that suggested it at the end of the description(in parentheses, like this). Please share it with me when you are done. It should be at least 1-2 pages. Don't forget to title the document Your Name - Cheque Story.

Some points to consider:

Who is your narrator?

How is the time frame of the story organized?

What is the main problem?

Who are the characters? What are they like?

What is the climactic moment of the story where the main problem is solved.

Remember, short stories generally follow the following pattern:

Exposition: reveals characters, setting, and the problem

Rising Action: the events that contribute to the problem and lead up to the climax

Climax: where the problem of the story is resolved

Denouement: where we find out additional information about the climax
