Organizer: Carolinian Circle of Young Diplomats in partnership with the Carolinian Political Science Society
Target Participants: Carolinian Circle of Young Diplomats particularly the students of IRFS141 under Atty. Archill Capistrano
Rationale: Philippine-Japanese bilateral relations have always been a colorful story filled with friendship and cooperation. The activity is intended to celebrate the 60 years of longstanding friendship and cooperation between Japan and the Philippines. It will also cover on the topic about the de facto alliance between the two countries amid China’s rising territorial assertiveness.
Intended Outputs:
- To raise awareness in the university on the existence of the Philippine-Japanese Friendship Day
- To enrich the knowledge of the IRFS majors on the relationship of Japan and the Philippines
- To learn or be aware of pressing issues such as the ongoing territorial dispute experienced by Japan and the Philippines against China
