What are Consumer Needs?

         Consumer wants and needs should drive marketing decisions, and no strategy should be pursed until it passes the test of consumer research.  A need is a consumer’s desire for a product’s or service’s specific benefit, whether that be functional or emotional. A want is the desire for products or services that are not necessary, but which consumers wish for. Malaysian society is rich with variety of traditional games. The most popular traditional games played by children are congkak, wau, gasing, batu seremban and many more.  Traditional games have been able to form a part of life experienced by the ancestors communities respectively.

                  Traditional games plays an important role in children health development where as modern games help just to pass your time while sitting at home and playing with computer games and making you more lazy. I totally agree that traditional games are far better than modern games ..These traditional games give them some relaxation from their studies and it also helps in increasing wining attitude in children as well as it also helps in increasing cooperation which plays an important role in communicate with other people in future.

 Why Traditional Games ‘’must’’ be consumer need?

               Let everyone know in Malaysian culture, there are many different types of traditional games, in their own history, developmental characteristics, the reason people play games and more. Also can improve children’s learning process, skill and knowledge. Traditional games are better for child development than modern games but to make it more enjoyable there should be some modern changes so children enjoy them and makes their body healthy. For example Congkak gives meaning as mental calculation that was practiced in this games. It was considered that good player will have an advantage in collecting points to win the game when the players calculates a few steps in advance. Also the WAU, some people also believed that he obtained extraordinary spiritual advice by flying up to the heavens on his ''WAU BUALN ' and developed the spiritual relationships with inhabitants of another world.

How Traditional Games must be consumer’s needs?

                 There are few ways to raise awareness and also overcome the problems on today's world. For example, can make some competition on school, let the children know the traditional game. Also, held a festival day on traditional games and do something about the traditional game advertisements.
