1.Introduction

This project includes three different exercises.

The first exercise is to create a customer database for the minor league baseball team called “Modesto Nuts”. Where we had to give a full AON network first, which then helped us answer the rest of the questions. In the second exercise,we were given the project network and we were given an assumption that there is only one Carpenter and two Electricians available. Here we were asked to compute early,late,slack times and the new duration then present the loading chart,AON chart,times for activities and point out the critical activities.In the third exercise we were given the indirect costs which are associated with their respective project duration. We were asked to calculate the total direct cost, total indirect cost and the total project cost, which we then had to plot on a cost-time graph.

Separate discussion forums were made on ‘moodle’, one for each exercise. This made it easier for everyone to understand and catch-up on the ongoing discussions. There was a bit of calculation involved in these exercises. Also there were different methods involved, so we got a variety of answers (especially in the second exercise). This document further gives the compiled answers of the three exercises given by this group.

Solution-Exercise1

This exercise involves us to create a customer database for the minor league baseball team called “Modesto Nuts” For doing this, we already had the entire project divided into various categories and sequenced one after the other. The time (in days) for completing each activity was already known to us.
