1.0 Executive summary
This report demonstrated that the operating condition of Sy’s Fish company. The objectives and the benefits of Excel and Access has been explained. The identification of the risks Sy’s business facing has been given, and then put forward the corresponding improvement suggestions in turn. The risk of maintaining manual time cards in payroll process is significant, leading to employees’ fraud and inaccuracy. Replacing manual time cards with a new time tracking system as a recommendation. Improving of customer order process has been suggested in this essay, included the context of this problem and the recommendation of this problem. Refund permission system is recommended to improve the performance of refund process.
2.0 Introduction
This report presents several findings after analysing the data that provided in Sy’ fish Pty Ltd’s case and gives some recommendations for this company about each threat. This company’s recordkeeping was primarily done manually which may cause several problems for its operating.
