The Pirate and the Princess, The Timelight Stone

By Mio Chizuru

This book, The Pirate and the Princess, is a never ending fantasy story about Yuri (the captain of the Eurastia) and Noelle (lost princess and owner of the Zaria stone ring). Yuri is 1 thousand years from the future and has a Timelight Stone that gives her eternal youth therefore her time has stopped. When she saves Noelle from the evil clutches of Pipps, Noelle wants to stay on the ship with her.

It all started when one of the royal guards betrayed and killed the king and queen and captured the prince Johann (Noelle’s brother). The princess, Noelle, ran fast but got captured by Pipps and Black Cloak. Soon Yuri heard a faint call of help in the distance and saved Noelle. Noelle always remembered her mother and the ring she gave her. Captain Yuri stopped at Pirate’s Wharf to find a home for Noelle and made her stay. Noelle looked into her ring that could tell the future and saw that Yuri would die! What will happen next?

I think the themes the author is trying to say would be to never give up and friendship is important. Noelle never gave up trying to stay by Yuri’s side and become a pirate. Friendship is important because if Noelle and Yuri had not met and became friends Noelle would be imprisoned by Pipps. If you never give up your dreams will come true.

I would give this book a 10 out of 10 because I love adventure books and I could not put it down, I had to read it nonstop. I would recommend it to all people of all ages who love pirate/princess adventure/fantasy types of books. This book is AMAZING, I could read it 1 million times and not get bored of it.
