Launched in May 2009 BillCutterz.com was formed by Barry Gross. It was basically one of his friend’s idea whose name was Mindy Niles. Before starting his own business Barry worked as a Marketing Manager of Reef Industries. Where he was assigned a responsibity of marketing the company’s products, including Banner Guard. When Ross left his job in 1980, “Reef Industries” annual sales has increase to $18 million.
Basically what BillCutterz.com was doing as a company was that that for its customers it helped them reduce the amounts for their cable, internet, mobile phone and other service provider bills by as much as 50 percent.
This interviews which was currently being aired was a result of letters sent to consumer blogger sites by BillCutterz.com’s marketing director in April 2014. This one interview started to change things for Gross and company, because it resulted in 3000 enrollees at BillCutterz.com within the next three weeks. After the review by Likfehackers.com Billcutterz.com was a contributor at Men’s Health who wrote about the company in the magazine “How to Do Everything Better” section. So this was one of the reasons why everyone thought it will be a great story for television too.
2: Determine the Organizations Mission, Vision, and Goals.
BillCutterz.com’s vision was “to be best at what they were doing” and their mission was “ to save your time and money” by achieving everyday goals. Since all the mission vision and goals of BillCutterz.com were easy and explicit. It was easy for the company to attract customers. As the company derived it revenue from the large customer base which comprised of every American who was 18 or above. It was important to keep things brief and simple, so that customers could know and understand.
One other thing that really differentiated them from the rest was that BillCutterz.com did not charge any fee unless saving were negotiated on behalf of its customer. Since Billcutterz.com claimed to save personal information of the customers it was a value addition to their services and a step ahead towards their mission and vision.
