The Competencies Assessment said my strengths were with coping with pressure, adhering to values, and cooperating.  One type of job that would match these competencies would be School Teacher, which definitely has pressure dealing with kids all day, and a teacher has to keep a certain amount of personal and educational values in dealing with children.  This job also involves cooperation with other teachers, students, and teaching cooperation between students.  Another job that would match these strengths is a job in the medical field.  There is pressure dealing with sick patients.  There are core values that must be in place to deal with patients, and cooperation is a must when trying to deal with patients or even coworkers in this field.  A social service type of job would also be a good match to these strengths because the employee would be dealing with people every day and would need those cooperation skills, and values are helpful in dealing with the public.

According to the Work Culture Assessment, I am one who wants a high-powered, ethical, and well resourced job.  This means I want a job that is demanding, gives chances for job advancement, allows for knowledge of new skills, allows chances to break up the monotony a little bit, and pays well.  It also has to be a job that stands by certain core values, is fair in hiring and in pay, and allows me to make a positive influence to people’s lives and society.  I also want a job that is a safe place to work, comfortable to work in, and has all the necessary resources I would need to do my job well.  A job that would match these criteria would be in the medical field.  There are many chances for advancement, it pays well, and they stand by certain core values.  Another job that would match these criteria would be a social worker.  It too, pays well, and stands by certain core values when dealing with their clients.
