The results of my competencies and career interest profile are interesting. The results of my career interest profiler found me to be artistic, realistic, and enterprising. The career matches are: Architect, surveyor, cartographer, Art design worker, media communication and communication worker, and supervisor of food prep and serving workers. Understanding my personal competencies gives me direction because I can see my strengths and weaknesses. I expected some of the competencies, but some of the professions surprised me Architect was the first on my list which I found very interesting. I have always thought about becoming an Architect, surveyor was next on my list which I have also considered in the past. In regards to my competencies results I scored the highest in the categories of adhering to values five out of five. I scored three out of five in the remaining categories Furthermore,

Understanding my competencies will help me become a better supervisor and communicator because I can see my strong points and which areas I need to improve. I can focus on organizing, which is very important in all work environments, in my future career I will know which competencies to focus on and improve thinking before I react to concerns and ideas so that I do not cause negative feelings. Improving my organizing skills will make my job activities easier to perform and complete. In addition, I have always been a decent writer which is very important when communicating. knowing my competencies will help me to improve my critical thinking because the competencies activity questions has made me aware of my strengths and weaknesses in different areas. From now on I will be working to improve my weaknesses. Improving my competencies will help me to evaluate arguments because as I improve I will have the skills to evaluate arguments. In conclusion,

Knowing how to communicate with others and taking their feeling into account is important when dealing with arguments.
