I am currently an office manger at a roofing company and have been here for eight years years. During the eight years I have been here I have had a few different accomplishments. When I first started working here I was an office assistant. After being here for four years the office manager retired and I got promoted. Every year I also take classes in programs that we learn every year to be able to better myself. While working here I have bettered myself financially for my family.

Where did you excel in this job?

I feel that my customer service skills have excelled since working at this job. I also learned that even though I am up as far as I can go here in my position that I am still bettering myself by going back to school so I can earn my degree. I had to learn how to perform my job duties very quickly as well as to train someone for my last position at the same time. I excelled in doing both of those tasks well. No matter what the day throws at me I always try to remain positive and be a good team leader.

What brought you the most job satisfaction from this position?

I got the most satisfaction when I was given a promotion. I never thought I would be in that position or that my boss thought that I could handle being in a management position. I was beyond thrilled to know that I put that type of impression on him.

What contributions did you bring to the organization?

I actively contribute my thoughts and opinions on how I think the company could run smoother as I deal with the money aspect of the company on a day to day basis.
