of the
Woodbury University
Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization
PREAMBLE
Whereas we believe that a group of college students interested in the field of entrepreneurship should organize for mutual benefit, we hereby establish a chapter of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization, which shall be known as Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization (CEO) Woodbury University at Woodbury University.
ARTICLE I. PURPOSE
Section 1. The purpose of the Woodbury University Chapter of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization shall be:
• To develop better public understanding and appreciation of entrepreneurial ventures;
• To inform, support and inspire Woodbury University students to be entrepreneurial and seek opportunity through enterprise creation;
• To provide Woodbury University students with the opportunities and networking capabilities that will allow them to succeed in the entrepreneurial environment; improve the methods of management and business techniques of business management;
• To encourage and uphold sound, honest practices in pursuit of entrepreneurial opportunity;
• To promote friendly relations between students, faculty, and business people.
ARTICLE II. MEMBERSHIP
Section 1. Membership shall be open to all Woodbury University undergraduate students interested in entrepreneurship and business practices; the board of directors will approve membership.
Section 2. Any individual approved for membership shall become a member of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs
Organization.
Section 3, CEO will not be limited on the basis of age, sex, disability, race, religion or national origin.
ARTICLE III. BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Section 1. The board of directors shall be the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Director of Marketing and, Director of Committees, Faculty Advisor as well as any other officers deemed necessary by the chapter.
ARTICLE IV. ELECTION OF OFFICERS AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Section 1. The board of directors and the chapter officers shall be elected in March of each year to serve the following year.
Section 2. All elected officers shall be chosen by secret ballot, and nominations shall be accepted by designated club representatives
