Consumer Behaviour is to study how individual customers or organisation made their buying decision and how they select the good and services to satisfy their needs and wants. The study of consumer behaviour is to help organisation to improve their marketing strategies.

For those marketers, they must understand how consumer behaviour is important for their company before they start to launch a new product. For the past few years, there have some cases show that a company forcing loss after they launch a new product. The reason is because they do not know how to evaluate customer respond of their particular product.

Former marketers think that as long as they promote the product to more people so that their business will getting better and better and it will make profits for company. Previously they did get a good results but nowadays customers is not only care about the reputation of the product, customers are pay more attention to product quality and functionality. In order to attract more customers, marketers have to undergo some research about consumer buying behaviour. Below, there are some discussion about the concepts and theories of consumer behaviour that marketers should understand.

First is to understand those factors that influencing consumer buying behaviour. Before entering into a market, every marketers have the responsibility to consider about which factors may be influence the consumer’s buying behaviour. Thus, there have some factors may affect the consumer buying decision for example weather conditions, social and cultural influence, personal factors and others. After understanding these factors, marketers can position the product on the right place, right time and for the right consumer. For instance if marketers going to sell a product something like jackets or winter supplies, they need to consider about all factors that may affect consumer to purchase the product such as which country or areas
