Darden a restaurant company is known across the United States that has a portfolio of brands that include Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, Bahama Breeze, Seasons 52, The Capital Grille, Eddie V’s and Yard House. This paper will be an analysis on the overall market analysis, cost and production analysis, and supply and demand.

Darden is a global leader in hospitality owns and operates more than 1,500 restaurants.  The Darden company perspective is that “We take pride in providing a terrific dining experience to every guest, every time, in every one of our restaurants. That is how we will be the best company in the casual dining industry, now and for generations.” ("Darden Restaurants, Inc." International Directory of Company Histories. 2002. , 2016) Darden is focused on two primary fronts: integrating energy and water saving measures into how we design and build new restaurants, and retrofitting our existing restaurants with more energy and water efficient features. (Darden, 2016)

 Red Lobster is a seafood specialty restaurant the menu at Red Lobster offers fresh fish, shrimp, crab, lobster, scallops and other seafood in a family atmosphere.  Olive Garden is a full service Italian dining facility it is known for its variety of authentic Italian foods featuring fresh ingredients and an extensive wine list.  Bahama Breeze gives its patrons an island feel of the Caribbean.  It offers an exquisite menu of Caribbean-inspired fresh seafood, chicken and steaks as well as island inspired specialty drinks.  The Seasons 52 brand offers a fresh dining and a seasonally inspired menu that is refined with a laid-back atmosphere.  The brand Capital Grille has wide variety of different menus and a wine list that considers the regions that each dining facility is located in.   The Eddie V's image is one of extravagance.  There are a variety of menus for supper and the wine list fluctuates to reflect the sites location and in the consumers selection in wine, costs and choices. The Yard House brand offers contemporary American food with exquisite culinary recipes and ethnic flavors.   The Yard House is known for its extensive variety of draft lagers and different drinks in a classy and fiery atmosphere.  We take pride in providing a terrific dining experience to every guest, every time, in every one of our restaurants.
