The decision-making process has six stages. These stages consist of identifying and diagnosing the problem, generating alternative solutions, evaluating alternatives, making the choice, implementing the decision, and evaluate the decision. Choosing to go back to school (College) and what school to attend that I would like, and that could be simple for me while I am a fulltime mother and I also work fulltime. I needed that to be figured out. I did not use the decision-making process; things might have been a little different.
I have been thinking about going back to school for more than a year, I was nervous, I had no clue where to start from and I also thought about how long I been out of school will that make me stupid. When I think about the decision making process maybe I used some of the steps but, I don’t think I used all of them. The decision-making stages are to identify and diagnose the problem, generate alternative solutions, evaluate alternatives, make the choice, implement the decision, and evaluate the decision (Journal of Marketing. Jan2011).
One of them is diagnose the problem I have already done that the whole year while I was deciding on what I wanted to do.
