First I should say, I learned a lot in the researches for this group work. I have exposed myself to many real-life cases, which helps me a lot in understanding the actual process and mechanism. One of my responsibilities is to write about “system architecture”, I had no idea of what it is at beginning, but when I started to dig deeper, I was even forget about it is only an assignment. I have read through many different solutions for B2C web, and different architectures for different solutions. Finally, I chose cloud services, as it is more mature and flexible today for different size of business. I am from the international business management background. Except in-book knowledges and theories, the most I learned was from amount of cases. I always trying to imitate the way people did in the business cases, and adjusted the strategy with the current situations, sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t. For example, this time, the proposal to MEK as a third company is in some extent more like an assignment for 5002, rather than a “real” proposal to the MEK. But as I have gain so much fun knowledge, I succeeded persuade my group mate doing this assignment in a slightly different but I believe a little bit creative way. Hope it works, and we had fun!

Understanding the knowledge is hard at the beginning when people are having different perception. When we discussed same topic, we would exactly focus on different aspects. Especially when it was inevitable to talk about technology that nobody has gone real further before, we would always end up discussing and start research, even though it was not efficiency in the teamwork, I found it helpful to understand deeper of whole project.
Finally, it was a fun project, but each of the deliverables is worthy to learn deeper. If we could learn that in the class, that would be really useful. The failure for the first deliverables always remained me the importance of finding the right target and needs. It is similar to identifying the customer needs before designing the products. Here is a suggestion that, hope next time, the requirements in the deliverables can be more clear and specific and useful, for example, we have found that “overall diagram” and “activity diagram” are two separate thing, the “overall activity diagram” in the deliverables is a misleading.
