All exchange students, except those from the Nordic countries, must obtain a formal residence permit after arrival in Norway. We organize a meeting with the Bergen police for you.

Exchange students from China, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Russia, South Africa, Taiwan are also required to have a visa in addition to a residence permit.  The visa must be obtained before arriving in Norway. We advice students to file their applications for visa as soon as possible after admittance to NHH. • Health Insurance

If you have questions regarding visa or residence permit, please contact your local Norwegian Embassy. Please note that the fee for obtaining residence permit is NOK 3200, which has to be paid when you hand in your application.

The organization number of NHH is: 974789523
