I. Background of the study

Cars-back café and restaurant was established by Cathy Alana and Ardie Alana on October 29, 2011. It is located in 37 National Road Putatan, Muntinlupa City. Cars-back is a company that aims to provide the best customer satisfaction compared to other cafes in the area. They intend to achieve their aim to provide higher satisfaction to their customers by providing good food at affordable prices. They also strive to have excellent customer service for the satisfaction of their customers. Cathy Alana the owner of the cafe also has a catering business that serve for all kinds of event through appointment. Her desserts are popular due to its uniqueness, which led to the opening of Cars-back cafe due to her clients’ demands. Having been operating for more than a year they already have adjusted to the kind of market around national road.

Cars-back café and resto has been operating well since given their desirable location at the National Road. In the vicinity of Cars-back are offices from which most of their market comes from besides their customers who order desserts online. The usual customers are office workers but due to the expansion of their dessert menu they’ve also attracted other customers from outlying areas who only go there for their ice cream filled brazo de mercedes and other sweet delights.

Aside from the good location that the establishment has, most of their patrons were drawn to the café and restaurant due to their high quality of service and food that is provided by well trained staff. The operating staff in Cars-back makes their customers feel at home whenever they are inside its cozy confines which make it a great place for people who need a break from their hectic work in the office.
