In today business world there are many businesses that fail in their first year. The reason for these failures varies from poor lack of business plan to poor leadership skills. Five Guys Burgers and Fries have beaten the odds by creating a recipe for success. The Five Guys mission statement, as simple as its menu, is aligned with the philosophy that if you're going to sell hamburgers and French fries in a restaurant industry that is crowded with hamburger-french-fries chains, you'd better do hamburgers and French fries better than anyone else. Simply stated, the mission statement of Five Guys Burgers and Fries is: they are in the business of selling hamburgers. This thinking has formed a successful business, Five Guys Burgers and Fries do not try to add a lot of different stuff to their menu. The main objective with this franchise is to produce the best product and nothing else. I believe by not over expanding their menu have allow them to focus on one main product have allow them to be a success in the restaurant industries where many have fail. Five Guys goal is to sell the best quality burgers possible. To sell the best burger possible they focus on excellence, service, and cleanliness."

Five Guys Burgers and Fries are place separately from all other hamburgers food chain because they create there name of superiority service, not the fasts service but on excellent value. And service the customer’s the grain of meat, that hamburger could be made out of. It is true what they said you get what you paid for, and at Five Guys Burgers and Fries , you made pay a little more for your hamburger, But the quality of the real ground beef and the freshness of the ingredient is worth the price of the hamburger. This is what set this franchise apart from other, the services, and the fact that they menu is not over crowd with other items that would take their main focus off what the product of service is to sell good quality hamburgers. The Five Guys and Fries restaurant was set up from the beginning to sell best hamburgers. Jerry Muller business plan was very simply to sell a really good, juicy burger on a fresh bun. And to make the perfect french fries, by not cut corners. That's been the business plan since Jerry Murrell and his sons opened their first burger joint in 1986.
