discuss your thought on their methods. Would be willing to undergo a freshman fitness assessment upon entering college? Do you think it is ok to require people of certain BMIs to enroll in health classes? Obesity is a major issue affecting thousands of college students in America. However, thats not even the biggest problem. The problem is that millions of Americans fail to recognize that they are obese or overweight. Many individuals think that its not a big deal and that they choose to be overweight.
In my opinion, the Coker program is an excellent program to ensure that individuals who are overweight will have more attention. This program also ensures that students who are already fit will not go through unnecessary exercise classes. This scientific approach in determining which students must take fitness classes will provide the students with an understanding on why they must take extra fitness classes and go to them in the first place.

But after I entered college, I was overwhelmed with all my classes and I never found time to go to the gym. However, if I was required to go to a health class because of my weight I would be glad because that would make sure I work out on a regular basis.

Some students may not understand why they have to do this but its important to teach them and make them understand.
