Today, when we are talking about Human Resources Management, we can understand that there are including Strategic Human Resources Management, Planning and Organization, Human Resources Policies...etc. All mentioned topics more or less co-related with the company mission and direction. Down to the earth, there are day-to-day operations. Recruitment and Training are typical tasks. On the other hand, we have to retain people if we do not want to recruit and train new employees discontinuously. We shall describe on the recruitment methods and selection processes and then we shall take a look into the difficulty of recruitment in China, especially in the worker level. Then, we shall continue to describe on what kind of training we have and how new technology software can help us on training. Finally, we discuss on how to retain people.

Recruitment Methods

The aim of recruitment is to hire right person to the right position. There are different ways to recruit people. Some may be suitable for hire workers. Some other way may more cost effective and some other may be the only way to hire senior executives.

Advertising

It is commonly used before internet base being used. The best medium is the local paper. We can choose different local paper to post ads. for different level of staff, from senior executive to workers. As internet recruitment and Employment Agencies become more and more popular. Companies are preferred to use these methods to recruit senior executive rather to post ads. on newspapers.

Employment Agencies

Employment Agencies provide recruitment services. They post ads. either through internet or newspapers according their customer's requirements. Then, they do the first round interview and screening. They will refer suitable candidates to their customer for final selection. Also, they will store those candidates records in their database for further use. It is most used to hire mid level management staff.

Temp Agencies

Sometimes companies require temporary or part-time workers to fulfill a sudden increase in the need of workforce, but we do not need those workforce for long. Those Temp Agencies may have exist workforce
