Cisco Systems, Inc. is the worldwide leader company in Internet networking. Cisco hardware, software, and service offerings are used to create an internet solutions which make these networks useful so that they can give an easy access to information anywhere, at anytime for individuals, companies, and countries. Cisco has taken the lead of the use of the Internet and provides consulting services based on their experiences helping their customers around the world. Cisco was founded in 1984 by a small group of computer scientists from Stanford University. Cisco is an american company which based in San Francisco, United States. That’s where “Cisco” name comes from. And if people take a look at Cisco company logo, it’s very similar to San Francisco bridge. There are two types of knowledge sharing in Cisco. External knowledge sharing and Internal knowledge sharing. Cisco share knowledges externally to their partners, vendors, and resellers. Why Cisco should train their external partners? Of course they should. They should train their external partners so that their partners (presales and/or technical consultants) which are employed by Cisco vendors are fully understand about all Cisco products and those presales can introduce and sell the products well to the end users. Who are the end users? Cisco end users are not common people. Cisco end users are also big mutinational companies. There are some Cisco products which are specified for common people such as wireless internet modem. Cisco internal sharing knowledge simply means a knowledge sharing between Cisco experts and employees.
