Learning Style in Hr

First of all, I think I am a visual learner. I would like to sit in front of the class and keep my eyes on the professor and the PowerPoint slides. Normally, if the professor integrates the lecture with videos, pictures or diagrams, it is much easier and quicker for me to understand the new information. Secondly, I am a social learner. I prefer to learn in groups or with other people. Usually, the professor requires us to do group work. I always feel that among group members we could inspire and encourage each other, as a result, creating very good ideas. Thirdly, I am also a aural learner, because I learn better when I am exposed to sound and music. Especially the classical music helps me to feel relaxed and release the pressure from studying.

If I were a trainer, I believe as a visual learner instead of talking for a long time, I would like to spend more time on using videos, PowerPoint slides or diagrams to transmit the new knowledge to trainees, because according to my learning style I believe that using visual assistant tools could help others to understand training course easily. Secondly, I will divide my trainees into server groups, because I believe some trainees are good at some aspect but other trainees are good at other aspects. These ideas are based on my learning style. Based on the study from professor Julian’s course, I realize that there many learning styles existing in our common life, therefore, as a trainer, they have to use multiple training methods to help trainees.
