Managing Compensations and benefits
Siam Cement Group is managing compensation and benefit base on fairness and responsibility evaluate based on suitability within its organization. Also related to performance of each individual employee and competitiveness within its industry.
Managing compensations and benefits policy are;
1.) Adequate
2.) Equitable
3.) Balanced
4.) Cost- effective
5.) Secure
6.) Incentive providing
7.) Acceptable to the employee
Internal Organization Equity
Compensation and benefit management based on Job Value, which will be in practically done by Job Analysis and determining of clear specified Job Description (JD), setting standard Job Evaluation and Job Classification.
Market salary survey will be conducted annually in cooperation with other national leading organization, for example, PTT, CP, Nakorn Luang Cement, Saha Union. Result from the survey will be used as compensation and benefit payout structure adjustment to make it inline with the market and leading company. SCG do not aim for the best compensation and benefit payout and try to manage the payout above leading company average.
SCG policy is payment according to individual performance considering past 3-5 year work performance and effectiveness. There will be annual adjustment as Merit Increase, Promotion Adjustment, and special Adjustment.
Employee Relation
Employee Relation is relationship between organization and its employees on the basis of working together according to agreement with “Hiring Condition”. From the past experience of SCG, there was no conflicting between employee relation as SCG believed in Value of the people and hold on to transparency and equity management. In additional, SCG value importance of communication between organization and its employees to maximized understanding and transparency in every issue to prevent labor problem and to create a peaceful working environment together.
SCG Employee Relation Policy
1.) SCG believes that it is a duty and responsibility of its organization to always make sure that compensation and benefit is paid out in equity manner without request from employee.
