Executive Summary
Social transformations in the last two decades have substantially increased workforce diversity and work design argued, it is necessary to help HR managers to make human resource management plans to meet the needs of different employees avoid changing jobs or retirement early, especially the workers with high family commitment. In case of SCDesign, which exists many problems on managing diversity and designing work. For instance, it does not have a formal policy on maternity leave or flexibility-working strategy; although young people considered as the main force in the companies, SCDesign does not pay attention on build a clear career structure for them. Besides, this company does not have a performance management system and the project agreement on how to recruit and assign staff. Therefore, it will be argued two issues about work design and managing diversity according to the case.
