Step1: PQS should provide a trade deal for PQS. Trade deals offer some sort of incentives, usually a lower price, to encourage the retailers to do something extra to promote a specific brand (Schultz, 1998, p 203). As a result, PQS received $1.75 per card from installers, and PQS will offer a $0.20cash rebate to retailers to stimulate them to explain to buyers more clearly about the Roadside Assistance program.

Step2: Unlike regular price cuts, coupons may make consumers feel that they are getting a good deal on a particular product, thereby causing them to increase consumption (Schultz, 1998, p.39). Continuity programs are designed to create and reward brand loyalty among customers who might otherwise switch from brand to brand with category (Schultz, 1998, p.91). In a nutshell, PQS should utilize digital coupon strategy and continuity program strategy in order to increase consumer usage and revenue. If customers register as PQS’s members, customers will have warranty program automatically via email.

•PQS should create frequent-buyer program. Loyal customers can register as their members, and they can download loyalty cards and coupons online, and scan coupons from mobile phones. Nowadays, many customers spend a lot of time using mobile phones and going online searching for coupon. Customers can click smartphone apps, download coupon online, and companies can track customers’ redemption rates easily. PQS should upload coupons to their official website, and members can log in pin numbers and print the coupon or use smartphones, and retailers such as new car dealers, mass merchants, repair specialists, as well as providers of quick lubes can scan the coupon in order to let members have reduced price.
