I am writing to express my strong interest to the Business Intelligence Analyst position at Prynt Corp. Given my 4 years of rich study experiences and practical programing skills in business analytic, I would appreciate your consideration for this position. In order to show how much value I can provide for the company, please let me introduce my analysis and programing experiences respectively.

In school, I have been trained for solving many real business problems like optimization for supply, sales prediction, and consumers’ classification for marketing research etc. The real practice problems can make us quickly adapt into new business environment once we work. For example, a class problem that I was trying to solve was housing price prediction. Since house features determine housing price, I did the data preprocessing and fit the data into multiple linear regression. When previous part was finished, I conclude how much value for each house feature contributes to price, then I finalized my conclusions into story and present to people. And while outside of the school, I use exactly what I’ve learned from that class and the outcomes has been recognized people. There are also other experiences but they are both proving my class knowledges are useful and valuable for providing insightful information to reality problems.

Additionally, I also know many programming languages such as sql, Ruby, python, and php etc. In my current part time, I worked as web developer and most of time I’m helping people to query data from database and make report.  Besides query data base and making report, I also helping building small data warehouse for analytical needs individually. This also require tremendous sql knowledge and Ruby when I construct databases. Thus, If I can work for the company, probably my experienced programing skills not only can do wider variety of work but also have capability to finish tasks independently.
