UCS Co. Change Management
I am a change manager in Union coop / UCS Co. My responsibility is to manage change coming in the organization. This change can be positive or negative. For the negative changes to take place I have to incur certain working practices in the business operations to prohibit them to influence company’s performance. My authority is to apply change supportive measures across the organization without the approval of executive body.
Currently company is going through some financial crises. Newcomers are welcomed by the company to inculcate their talent and skills to bring improvements in the performance. Old ones are resisting new working practices erected by new employees. There exist a wide gap between communication level new employees and current ones. Executive body is puzzled how to do? What to do? When to do? Operations are handled differently by work force. There exists no same pattern for the functional performance. Competitors have outweighed the company. Zero performance is displayed in the market. Customers have been switched to other companies. Only few have been left because of their loyal commitment. The employees recruited 10 years earlier are protesting against the new changes coming in the organization by old employees. These all poor conditions are ultimately impacting the bottom line of the company.
In this scenario following major questions are demanding answers from me:
How to settle down this condition?
How to get all the employees collected at one point?
How to change the overall culture?
What should be planned by the executive bodies?
What major aspects of the operation are needed to focus?
How to run the operations in such a way that get the competitive edge to the company?
In short what is the best way to manage all this change?
Why change is taking place?
