Introduction

The 8th annual For The Love Of We Honor Cocktail Party would be held in Singapore on 4 April 2015, we have sent invitations to prestigious people, philanthropists and reporters to join this fund raising event for combating Alzheimer’s disease.As an annual charity event, this year a cocktail party is designed to gather guests together, and create a leisure ambiance and eventually encourage them to donate more by the Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA) located in Woodlan.

A project plan on the fund raising event of cocktail party is prepared for making full use of the theories of project management. The plan given below consists of a scope statement, priorities identification which should be considered with its scope, time, cost as well as quality, in the form of a project priority matrix. Then the reviewer would put into the plan a Work Breakdown Structure and project costs estimation, followed by a project network diagram and a Gantt chart. Before the project closure, the reviewer would figure out a project risk management as well as a project performance measurement.

Project Scope Statement

Scope statement is composed of following six steps.Khan (2006) describes that the final result or progress could be showed in project scope, which is intended to identify the delivrable and design project plans. The project

2.1 Project objective

First of all, it is clear that the core objective of the project lies in the planning and holding a cocktail party to raise money, which would take place on 4 April this year with a budget of S$ 50 thousand.

2.2 Deliverable

Secondly, key deliverables of those measurable outputs are detailed as follow:

 Three pieces of news given by journalists from local newspaper agency

 Over & 100,000 donation

2.3 Milestones

Thirdly, the reviewer generates a list of milestones which shows several significant segments of the project:

Invitation sent - 10/3/2015

Purchase and rental planned - 20/3/2015

Equipment installed - 30/3/2015

Shopping made - 1/4/2015

House decorated - 2/4/2015

Final inspection - 3/4/2015

2.4 Technical requirements

Fourthly, techniques are required as follows in order to ensure future performance.

1) The house must entertain the prospective 60 guests leisurely and orderly equipped with various facilities, such as a cocktail bar, a swimming pool, creating a comfortable ambiance.

2) There must be place for children playing around.

3) There must be several restrooms near the cocktail bar for the drunk.

4) After the party, designated drivers are in ready to pick those the drunk if needed.
