Project idea

We want to build a cutting-edge mobile platform and create information market for all the recreational shop in Hong Kong. The app is designed to drive customer retention and increase customer satisfaction and experience by providing clear and completed shops information, effective search engine, convenience booking system and user friendly navigation system.

Product description

It is an informative mobile application to improve our living standard. There are 6 major function includes providing important information of the shop, effective search engine, user friendly booking system, review and rating system, shop owner promoting function and navigation system.

Recreational Yellow Page is a mobile app that provide huge amount of shop in the industrial building and shopping mall. Hong Kong is a tiny place which have over 120 shopping centre. Many of these malls are also function as residential developments with residential towers built on top of the mall in order to provide a greater living standard for the residents. Besides, in Kowloon and Hong Kong Island the malls may also be attached to an office tower. In view of this, we can see shopping malls is closely related to our lives.

The enormous number of shop in the shopping mall is also represented that there is huge amount of information to handle. As a customer, when we decided to buy a thing, the first concern is where can we buy it and the answer will always be the shop you used to buy it before. Since, you know they providing these kinds of product or service. Sometimes, because of the lack of information, it has limited your choices. In spirt of you are living there over many years, however, you may not know all the shops nearby and what kinds of product or service do they provide.

Therefore, our app would gather all this information and create a very effective search engine which the users can find out where can they satisfy their need easily. Filter system will also be installed to allow the user to filter out what they want and enhance the searching efficiency.

Booking system is another main function provided by the app. It will cooperate with the filter system to make it much more user friendly. The booking system can only be used by both registered shop owners and users. Request and reply system.......

In order to make profit, the major income will be the advertising, nevertheless, there will be an in app purchasing function for the shop-owner users. The shop-owner can buy the photo frame or add more photo on their description page. Also the booking management will charge for the user.

Apart from the lack of information is limiting the customer choice, actually there is another problem that's always occur. Although you know there is a shop which can satisfy your want, you don't know how to get to there. As we all know, the floor plan design of some of the shopping mall in Hong Kong is complicated and like a maze, therefore even you know the address but it is still time consuming to find the place. To solve this problem, a navigation system have been installed, it will work with GPS and guide the user to their destination.
