Reflection Paper: Team Compensation and Performance

TEAM COMPENSATION AND PERFORMANCE:
It is important to mention about our methodology in composing this team beyond rules set by Prof David for diversity purpose and my perception over each individual member’s skill set, before I analyse my contribution and our team’s performance. We are a five member team – Ankur, Niveditha, Arijith, Phalguni and Me.
Ankur has an experience of more than five years of job experience and he was very good in analysing the cases who guided and helped our team in analysing the case. Niveditha is also having more than five years of experience in IT field and she is known for her hard working nature. Arijith was good in communication skills and known for his exceptional written communication skills. Phalguni is an initiator, can ensure timely delivery of results. I believe I am good in problem analysis and bring in the needed coordinating effort to generate the positive synergy.
I and phalguni initiated the process of forming the group. We both strongly believed in the purpose of delivering a finest quality analysis and solution. Rather than being uncertain during the forming stage, we as a group believed in having a strong leader and attributed that position to Ankur.
Ankur has taken the role of initiating the brainstorming session and encouraging us to contribute our views. We five members has interpreted the issues in the case in our own views and debated over the possible solutions. There was a limited consensus over the problem interpretation and possible solutions even a day before submission. Ankur divided the work among us into different parts and also set individual deadlines to complete our individual works.
I have emphasized on providing the details of the case and clarifying views of the members to the team. From the childhood, I used to enjoy paying attention to the minute details of a topic. In the current context, though pessimistic, I was honestly, sceptic
