- Only 1554 head offices meet the requirement of target responder.
- 764 responses received(including 2 uncompleted, 246 head offices don’t meet the condition)
- As result, 516 useable responses were received, giving response rate of 33%

- On average, in New Zealand>27 years & owned by their current foreign investor for almost 17.
- 63% were branches or subsidiaries of a MNE & 25% had been acquired by MNE.
- Parent companies: 29% North America, 40% Asia-Pacific, 27% Europe, 4% others regions
- Main business activity: 34% manufacturing, 31% service, 33% sales office.
