Ruby Tuesday primary target is men and women between the ages of 20-35. These include young families and young couples. These are the main targets of Ruby Tuesday. They make their menu and price to reflect the young couples and families on a budget.

The men and women between the ages of 20-35 want a place where it is romantic and quiet but still modern to bring a date. They are looking for trendy and affordable American food. This group is also looking for quick service as they are also on the go with places to go. As for the young families they are looking for affordable food that is healthy, wholesome and not what they make and eat every day at home. These families are also looking for professionalism from the staff as they will likely have small children with them. They want quick and good services where they can also enjoy themselves knowing that they're children are taking care of.

Ruby Tuesday secondary target market is the elderly between the ages of 50-80. Ruby Tuesday makes sure that their food is always the same and is healthy and easy to eat. They make the comfort food that this generation is searching for when they decide to go out and eat.

The Baby Boomer generation is searching for restaurants that have the food that they have always eaten. Something they recognize and feel comfortable eating. They want quick service but still are expecting to have the staff take great care of them and be there if they want a chat. This generation does not like to be hurried while they are eating so it is very important that wherever they decide to go the service will always be unrushed. The Ruby Tuesday atmosphere is also great for this target market because of the quiet, familiar and warm setting they give.
