Abstract
There has been a high rise in preteen and teen pregnancy; they have no ability to take care of these babies or themselves. In the second trimester of pregnancy the fetus has turned into a baby, so therefore performing an abortion in the second trimester is considered murder. A second trimester abortion can be costly. In the second trimester the baby has begun to develop fingers, toes, ears, and eyes. By the end of the second trimester the fetus has grown into a fully developed baby. Although abortion maybe safe during the first and second trimester of pregnancy but with the fetus being fully developed in the second trimester this could cause some questioning is this murder.

Statistics shows that a total of 273,105 babies were born to teenagers ranging in the age of 15-19
in 2013. The United States has been considered to have one of the highest rates of teen
pregnancy in the western industrialized world. Even though some second trimester abortions is
needed, because the doctor may see some health problems that will not allow the baby to survive
even if it was birthed. So sometimes when considering a second trimester abortion we have to
look at all the considering facts.
Most people are not ready to become parents, and being a parent takes a lot of responsibility.
Being a parent takes a lot of devotion, most teens are not devoted to taking care of themselves.
When teens that are not stable become pregnant by carelessly having unprotected sex, I do not
think abortion should be an option. Instead of aborting a baby that could lead a promising life, I
think the baby should be adopted by a couple who is willing to give that baby the life it deserves.
Most women who do seek abortions only seek them because there may be some fetal or
maternal health reasons that may not show up until the second trimester of pregnancy and then
the abortion is performed after seeking medical directions. There are many genetic and health
reasons in the fetus that is not found until the woman is twelve weeks.
There is an uneven geographic count of women having second trimester abortions in the united
states, with the data being limited that tells us that the majority of women do not have the ability
