Should abortion be legal? What if a woman has been raped? The meaning of abortion is to terminate human pregnancy. People ultimately ask why you would want to kill such a precious thing; there are many reasons behind why females make the decision to terminate their pregnancy. A woman who has been raped has every right to abort the fetus. Especially, if there is no heartbeat or formation of the baby. One out of every four women who have been raped has had an abortion for personal reasons based on circumstances, beliefs and values.
Being raped is something that could scare a female’s life. At least two out of every four women have some type of scarring from being raped, whether it’s mentally, emotionally or physically. Conceiving a child through incest or with a total stranger is no way to bring a baby into the world. Who would want to have a baby by their dad, granddad, brother or uncle? That’s keeping a memory of something that changed your life in a tragic way. Why not terminate it? If you’re not emotionally ready to look at the baby for the rest of your life why not abort it? Since you were hurt and violated, who’s to say that a mother wouldn’t hurt or violate her child? A woman has a right to do what she wants to do with her own body. If she chooses to get rid of her baby, it’s her choice. Whose job is it to tell her she can’t? Not yours or mine. Is it impossible to stop abortions?
