*Based upon the readings we have done throughout this course, what do you envision for the future of business?*
With the unpredictability of the American economy and the outsourcing of a plethora of jobs that were once in America, I really cannot say what I envision for the future of business here in the States. I never thought I would see the day banks would actually close. In my neighborhood, I have seen car dealerships, banks, restaurants, grocery stores, major department stores, and even some schools permanently close their doors because the county does not have the funds available to keep these schools open. Consequently, the global market is flourishing as more and more jobs are being sent overseas and American businessmen are becoming more and more interested in foreign business and foreign trade. China is leading the world in technological advancements and will continue to lead probably as a direct result of the strict schooling enforced on their children beginning at a very early age. The Asians instill in their children discipline and the value of not only education but also the value of a higher education. I believe America will continue to lag behind in technological advancements. More and more Americans are going back to school to further their education and many are simply going back to school to gain the knowledge to start their own businesses as the company they have worked for, for many years shuts its doors or they are laid off. With the unstable economy, I believe the future of business lies in the hands of the consumers.

The company that I have chosen, other than the one from the past seven weeks, is well renowned here in Eastern Nebraska. Dr. Jacks Ink Emporium, established in 2003, currently has five locations with the original location still fully functional. I had gotten the pleasure of interviewing the manager of Dr. Jacks here in my current city. The thing I want to stress about with the tattoo industry is not all tattoo shops are as the ones portrayed on T.V. (I.e. Miami Ink). Tattooing is viewed as self-expression art, the art of Tattooing has been around for many thousands of years. The styles and reasons for it have varied from individual to individual as they have from society to society. Some tattoos were done for simple adornment, others done for religious beliefs, and others still for reasons only their owners will understand. Tattooing has existed in one form or another across the globe since before recorded history, and the popularity
