Problems:
The teamwork was in trouble that the team performance was not effective. It showed in several aspects below:
1. Spent too much time but cannot get a unified conclusion
2. At the end of the discussing, the team deteriorated into multiple side conversation.
3. The meeting’s atmosphere always turned to serious.
Factors:
According to the story Marshall told, I think there were 5 factors resulting in the low efficiency.
1. Diversity and personality of the members

Martin was the only woman, who came from a mixed-race family, coupling beauty and brain. In the team, she always put all the things together. So to some extent, Cooper wanted the learning team can performs efficiently and every member can get more in this team.
According to the Chapter 9, personality and diversity are very important to the team effectiveness as components of composition. So if every member cannot adjust to others’ personality and diversity, the team effectiveness will be influenced. In this team, Martin and Onyealisi had an unhappy discussion. Onyealisi didn’t agree with Martin’s arrange and Martin also was angry to Onyealisi’s attitude.
2. Storming stage
The team was founded three weeks ago and was still in the storming stage. Members accept the existence of the group but resist the constraints it imposes on individuality, like Onyealisi. He didn’t read the case and said “I had to do other things today”. Some members hold an incorrect idea and believed
