This research paper offers an examination of the impact of Japanese and Korean cultures on business. It provides an overview of both territories and Hofstede’s cultural dimensions. The paper establishes that Korea comprises of two countries, namely, North and South Korea while Japan comprises of four large islands, Honshu, Kyushu, Shikoku, Hokkaido. It defines culture as a set of attitudes, behaviours, actions, and values that guides of a group of people. The paper establishes that cultures of each individual territory greatly influence the operations of their respective business world. The paper concludes finds common similarities in the influence that Japanese and Korean cultures have on business. For example, both cultures value human relationships when conducting businesses.
