Abstract

This research report consists of the digital revolution 3D printing is expected to make in the field of electronic industry. Electronics industry is an ever-increasing technology field that uses new and old techniques to make the development in the new ways of increasing the productivity of the devices used and will be used in the industry. The one thing this report discusses is how the 3D printers will change the conventional supply or manufacturing industry in a new way and makes a huge impact on the availability and productivity of the manpower involved.

Part One : Introduction

What is 3D Printing?

In general sense, 3D printing is the process of printing or joining any object or precisely solidified object with materials being added together for example the process of adding liquid molecules or powder grains infusion process to create a 3D observable geometry shaped model ("3D opportunity for electronics", 2018). In 3D printing the object can be of any shape, size all these aspects are depended according to the requirement. The main concept of 3D modelling is to print the required functional electronic device in no time. The technique used for 3D printing is in official term called additive manufacturing because it uses binder material on to the power bed printer heads layer by layer.
