A. COURSE OBJECTIVES:
The objective of the course is to provide students with an understanding
of the technical skills and quantitative tools used in analyzing statistical
data relating to business decisions.
B. PREREQUISITE: Mat 125, STA 120, Microcomputer Proficiency
C. TEXT: Required: "Managerial Statistics (Intro to Business Statistics) by
Weiers, Loose-leaf binding, 7th edition, Cengage Learning, 2014
(ISBN-13: 9781285887821).
and Statistix10 -Computer Software CD.
D. CLASSROOM PROCEDURE AND ASSIGNMENTS:
Class time will be spent in problem solving, testing, and discussing the related materials. Students are expected to have read each text assignment prior to class and be prepared to answer questions and problems pertaining to the Chapter(s).
E. METHOD OF EVALUATION:
