Riordan Manufacturing is a highly lucrative company that brings in revenue in excess of $1 billion dollars. Employees are compensated fairly for their jobs that they do on a daily basis. The economy has definitely affected the sales of Riordan Manufacturing products but they do not feel that it will be a big decrease. Sales have been working their way back up to where they usually are. The company will maintain an innovative and team oriented working environment by making sure employees are informed and properly supported (Apollo Group Inc., 2003, 2004, 2006). Labor costs are expected to increase over the next two years will lead to higher payrolls and will also lead to greater pressure on wages. With this all happening the decrease in productivity growth that will be consistent to long term trends will also increase the labor costs (Apollo Group, Inc 2005). By all of this happening health benefits will continue to increase at an above average rate which will also help the company because they manufacture health supplies, such as stents and heart valves. The prediction in future trends are that supplies will continue to be successful which will in turn make the company successful which will lead to happy employees. Employees will still have their positions within the organization and payroll will be able to increase due to the increase of revenue.
