Abstract

It is important and a must for any organization to possess a very essential component, adaptability. Due to daily occurrences of change as a result of external environments and influences it is essential that organizations possess this component. In order for any organization to be successful in adaptability the leadership is very important. Leaders achievement of personal goals, integrity and compassion for what they do build trust with employees. Leaders who are transformational make decisions based on a broad perspective, organizational vision and mission, group goals, and network development. Transforming leadership occurs when one or more persons engage with others in such a way that leaders and followers raise one another to higher levels of motivation, morality and can be thought of as a set of behaviors of individuals who accomplish change. Research focuses on understanding the impact of trust in effective leadership. Leaders play important roles in building and maintaining the trust of its employee. They have a continual process of learning which contributes to their adaptability, knowing that change is a necessary component for a business to survive. Research has also found that organization with effective leadership and high levels of trust have highly motivated employees that produce high level performance. Employees who have been given more freedom in decision-making of their organization are more likely to contribute to the organization's growth. Transformational leadership is important in Human Resources.

We all have roles that we play in our organization, roles that contribute to the organization's value. It can sometimes be hard to determine whose role is more important to the contribution of the organization's success. In order for organizations to be successful they must become resilient and have the ability to change direction. In order to do so there must be someone who can parallel the needs of a changing organization. Transformational Leaders can play a key role in an organization achieving their goals. Finding transformational leaders are what every Human Resources Department hopes to achieve in order to have superior results. What can organizations do in order to assure they have leaders who can see them through the ever so changing needs of their business?

A role that is very important, is the role of the Human Resources Department, this department has a number of responsibilities. The Human Resources department has many responsibilities ranging from the recruitment to termination of employees. A very important responsibility is retaining employees who can contribute to the organization's overall success and in order to do so HR representatives need to be viable and contribute to the organization.
