16 oz sugary drinks vs any size

Is this ban made to actually diminish American rights? The ban is not to control anyone or take anyones rights away.Sugary drinks over 16-ounces should be banned.If consumers want more, they can always purchase more.If anybody is going on a picnic or else where they may go to supermarkets,convenience stores,etc.

Even though the American Beverage Association criticized that soda is being targeted as a culprit in the obesity epidemic over other factors, that is not all true. I’m sure it may appear to be true, but it has been stated by Dr.Steven Safyer that “This policy is a great step in the battle to turn this health crisis around”.In other words it is just a step, it is not the only thing that will be done to help prevent this obesity epidemic.Nutritionist Karen Congro expressed “There are pockets of the population who have no idea what a proper serving size is, this will help reign them in”. This was not said to pinpoint or bad mouth those that are obese or their family and friends. It was said to help make people realize that they need to make better health decisions. Everybody knows or have seen multiple people that are obese in their lifetime. They even become targets for bullies, It doesn’t matter the age or where you are from you will become a quarry.

All of this is not to take the people's rights away or anything remotely close to that. This is to help those in need. According to the NYC Department of health and mental hygiene, more than half of adults are obese or overweight and nearly one in five kindergarten students are obese. Being obese can clog your blood stream, cause heart failures and even death. Does that sound like the purpose of this ban is to diminish Americans or to help save people's lives. Dr. Safyer stated “For the past several years ,I’ve seen the number of children and adults struggling with obesity skyrocket, putting them at early risk of diabetes, heart disease, and cancer.” There isn’t a person who wants their family members in the hospital or in their death bed because they couldn’t watch
