Abortion Kills

In this passage, Wesley is trying to give Kesha a better understanding on why abortion is wrong and how it destroys the lives of innocent babies.

Wesley: Abortion should not be legalized because life should not be murdered.

Kesha: It sounds like if someone believes in abortion than they’re unfortunate.

Wesley: Not exactly Kesha, I just believe that abortion is unfortunate.

Kesha: Well, sadly I am unfortunate just like people who want to get an abortion. Though, I can’t tell you whether or not that you should believe in abortions or not, so I just don’t quite understand your point of view would you mind explaining to me?

Wesley: Of course, Kesha. That is why I am here.

Kesha: Thank you Wesley. I would like to ask you a question. What is abortion?

Wesley: Well, abortion is a deliberate termination of human pregnancy.

Kesha: And someone who wants to get an abortion is wrong because they’re killing someone inside of them?

Wesley: Exactly Kesha. It is wrong, to take the lives away from innocent people. Especially if they did not get a chance to live among this earth.

Kesha: I’m afraid I still don’t quite understand why abortion is wrong. Although, I must admit I am a bit excited to look forward to hearing more about your ideas, knowing that you don’t believe in abortion and all. Would you mind explaining it a bit further?

Wesley: Yes, Kesha. What would you like to know specifically?

Kesha: Well, you say abortion is wrong because it takes the lives away from innocent people

Wesley: Yes

Kesha: What’s wrong with abortion based of the circumstances of being raped or not being financially stable of taking care of a child.

Wesley: Well Kesha. Let me give you an example.

Kesha: Mm. Okay, Wesley

Wesley: Well Kesha... What if someone, you loved and cared about had been raped and they ended up getting pregnant from that tragic incident. Would you blame the person who got raped or would you blame the person that caused it?

Kesha: Well, perhaps I would blame the one who raped the person I cared about. It’s not the person I cared about fault that; that happened to them.

Wesley: Exactly

Kesha: I still do not see where you’re getting at Wesley...

Wesley: Well… Ms. Kesha. I look at it like this. If you were pregnant, and you didn’t want to wind up pregnant would you blame the baby or would you blame yourself?

Kesha: Well, I would probably blame myself because the baby wouldn’t have anything to do with the situation and the decisions I have made.

Wesley: Right... So why should people, murder babies? It is not their fault they were brought upon this world, it’s the person that created the little human being fault. Also, why should their lives be taken from them, they're just as innocent as someone getting raped.

Kesha: What do you mean?

Wesley: Sigh… Kesha abortion is murder. Why murder someone who never asked to be brought upon this world? It is not their fault that they were made. Little babies are innocent and they’re a child of God and so are you. So do you believe that it is right to murder the child of God?
