The sweet smell of turkey legs, cotton candy, funnel cakes, and candy apples fills the air when walking in to each park at Disney World. Noises coming from every direction overwhelm you with excitement. Each aspect of the parks fills your body with a sensation of emotions and always wanting more.

As a small child, going to Disney World is a dream come true. Walking into the Magic Kingdom and seeing Mickey and Minnie for the first time is when the dream becomes a reality. Looking at Cinderella’s enormous elegant castle in front of you in amazement makes you wonder if you will ever get the chance to go inside. Eager photographers surround you asking to take a family photo and souvenir shops filled with your favorite Disney character paraphernalia are in every direction call you to come take a peek inside. The magic had only just began and you are already feeling satisfied with happiness.

As you go into the different parks you get unique feelings in each one. When entering Animal Kingdom, seeing the tree of life with each animal of the jungle carved perfectly into its trunk, you get a view of how diverse and amazing nature really is. Waiting in line, hearing the rattle of Mt. Everest as it speeds through the tracks combined with the screaming of excited riders causes your entire body to get chills and goose bumps as you wait your turn to strap in and take off. You watch The Lion King become real with acrobatic monkeys, dancing lions and zebras, and talking and singing animals. When entering into It’s a Bug Life 3-D, you do not anticipate the feeling of ants crawling at your feet and bugs “biting” you on your back. Hopping on the jungle safari jeep and seeing real animals up close in their natural habitat is as if you are actually in the African Veldt. After going through the park and seeing all the amazing sights, you are content, thinking it was everything you expected it to be and more. On the next morning, you wake up thinking how hard it would be for any day to reach yesterday’s standards; then you show up at Epcot and second-guess yourself. When you first see the giant golf ball, you wonder how something so plain can interest you or entertain you so much, then you get on the ride taking you inside this spectacular ball. All the fascinating facts you learn about the universe as a whole, makes you itch to get off the ride and explore the rest of the park. The first big ride you come to is called “Test Track.” Before going into the ride, you watch a video explaining what will happen when you get on the ride. It explains how you will be a crash dummy, testing out the brakes of a car going extraordinarily fast. Your adrenaline is pumping and your heart is racing. The next attraction you see is all of the different countries. You can walk through each country as if you are actually backpacking across the world. You get such a real authentic task of each diverse place. Falling asleep the night after going to Epcot is difficult. Learning facts and seeing different worlds opens your mind up to all sorts of imaginations. Not to mention the sleepless anticipation for what your next day’s adventure will include.
