Distance Learning

Distance learning to me is a unique concept to capitalize on further my education through technology and communication. Example: Instructors on the network. Before beginning on-line classes I thought lessons would be mailed bi-weekly on disks to students. Distant learning is very resourceful and beneficial to whoever decides to take that path. All it takes is determination and discipline which solely comes from within.
In society today technology is the key. With just a click of a button on my computer, "I'm in class." I'm in the comfort of my home going to college. That's amazing. No worries regarding transportation, finances or someone to look after my daughter. Distant learning has given me the opportunity to further my education something I had once given up on due to certain circumstances. However, with the tools and technology I'm ready to conquer this task with great enthusiasm.
Communicating with my instructor and classmates is a wonderful experience. I truly fill blessed to have a chance to gain the knowledge in the field that I choose. Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to express my views on Distant Learning.
One beautiful sunny afternoon my fiancé and I went out to dinner. While eating I express to him that I was beginning classes on Monday. He looked frighten and said it's very unsafe for you to be traveling alone at night coming from school. I smiled and explained the following information:
To enroll in classes at Axia you will speak with an enrollment counselor, who will give you instruction on every aspect for your enrollment. Upon completing your enrollment you will log in and began training on how to post assignments and etc within your classes.
