Organizational Climate
Organizational climate is the combination of voice, action, and job performance that an employee displays directly or indirectly in their workplace. Our team of four, after looking through the Fortune 100 list of 100 best companies to work for, chose The Cheesecake Factory as our company. In the following paragraphs our team will discuss how the Cheesecake Factory encourages Organizational behavior, and how it demonstrates it through amplifying effect, pro-social behavior, positive defiance, and conscious capitalism.
Encouraging Positive Organizational Behavior
Does the Cheesecake Factory encourage positive organizational behavior? After reading the article by forturne.com we would all agree that yes, the Cheesecake Factory does in fact encourage positive organizational behavior. Not only do they offer great perks such as health insurance and a wellness program, discounts on meals and snacks, professional growth and development, recognition programs, encourage fun and celebration, but they also offer opportunities to give back to the community. One of the biggest things that the Cheesecake Factory does to encourage positive behavior in the organization is that they promote from within. This is a one of the largest factors in showing that they do indeed encourage positive behavior, employees know they will be rewarded in a big way for a job well done. Looking at the ratings of the company given by their employees anyone would be able to tell the positive behavior the employees have.
