Is Google Making Us Stupid?

From this article, I don’t really agree with the topic, which is “ Is Google making us stupid? “

As time goes on, the society and the technology grow rapidly. It happened naturally, this is how world goes. We only need to accept it because we have no ability to change it. So I don’t really think that Google make us stupid, it is just an easier way to make our life convenience. Be honest, Google do actually help us a lot, it saves plenty time for us, and make a lot of definition accurately.

But on the other hand, Google do actually make people being lazy, people start to rely on Google research. It gradually wins prominent part of people’s daily life, and becomes an essential part. For instance, if we ask someone what is something about, most of them would say go Google it. No one would like to spend countless time to read a bunch of reading materials instead of searching for it by only few seconds.

Everything has two sides, so we cannot say that “Is Google making us stupid?” is definitely wrong or it is absolutely right, we should think rationally. But to me, I still think the good side is greater than the bad side, because for now, the society moves too fast, if we still use the old ways to do things, we won’t catch up the development of the society for sure, therefore we have to make sure we use the new technology to follow this world.
