The question of the day is google making us stupid? There are many opinions on this subject, but what is the truth? Nicholas Carr has written a wonderful article about “Is Google Making Us Stupid.” Nicholas has put in a lot of great facts, which are truthful. There are three question to answer to know the truth about is google really making us that dumb or not. Is google making us stupid or not , and what are the benefits good and bad?

Google isn’t making a person stupid, but not making a person anymore smarter. . A lot of people use google up to ten times a week, if not more. The web has helped a lot of people, infact most gain a huge amount of knowledge from this web page. In Nicholas’s article he wrote about how it only takes minutes to research a topic, and find a lot on it. Google is helping people maybe not in the way it should be, but still helping people in their daily life. As society people aren't really using their brains when using google, but it's befiring people much at the sametime.

Is Google making us stupid, because our society is getting information and running with it? There are some harsh truth from Nicholas’s article, but are the truth. In Nicholas article he said “I’m not thinking the way I used to think”, that statement is true. When using the web page google a person is just getting an answer and not evening thinking about it. Also Nicholas said “The more they use the web, the more they have to fight to stay focused on long pieces of writing.” His statement is very true for younger college students even adults.
